There will be a free fireside performance Sunday, March 27th at 7 p.m. of From Cumorah's Hill.

Right now they are having practices and welcome more participants. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m. B135 JFSB and Saturdays 11-12 p.m. at a church building on 900 S. (take 900 E until it forks. Go left toward Springville by the cemetary, then another left onto 900 S. It's the first church building on the left--1300ish E.). This is also where the performance will be held.

6 Glazed Doughnuts Up for Grabs

Hey Y'all!

I didn't know if you knew, but on Fridays between 0930-1000 a.m. a guy brings day old bread from the American Fork Fresh Market to the Wymount Office. It's on the table between the double doors and free to anyone who can use it. My hubby picked up a dozen doughnuts this morning and we REALLY don't need to eat all of them. Girls Game Night

I just want to let everyone know that we're planning a girls game night on Saturday, March 5 at 7pm in the 1b basement. Everyone is invited, bring a treat and games if you'd like and come have fun! If you have questions you can call me, Leah, at 8-5173.

Come check out the newest BYU animated short!

They will be showing the latest BYU animation short "Dream Giver" on March 2nd (Wed) in the DeJong concert Hall (In the Harris Fine Arts Center) at 11:00am. The film is probably the best animated film that BYU has put out so far. It has already won an award at the Student Emmy's (for both animation and music) and is going to be in dozens of festivals throughout the year. It won't be released to the public for at least a year when all the festivals are over- so you won't want to miss this premier. The film itself is about 7 minutes long- and then there is a guest speaker from Walt Disney Studios that will be coming. Come for all of it or part of it- whatever you would like to do. Bring your kids. It's 100% free. The concert hall holds about 1700 people and they are hoping to fill up all the seats. Hope to see you there!

Free Slim Fast

I have 11 cans of chocolate slim fast that my mom bought for me a little while ago when I was too sick to eat.  I am not a big fan of the stuff so it's just been sitting in our fridge. It doesn't expire until Aug 2011. If you are interested you are MORE than willing to come take them from me. Give me a call or email me.

free TV and table

My sister gave us a TV last fall that we are no longer using -- because we got another hand-me-down tv soon after. We would just take it to DI but I wanted to see if anyone in the neighborhood would like it. It works. We watched some of Conference on it and it was a little fuzzy but I don't know if it was the TV or the cord or just how we had it connected or something.  It has a built-in VCR that works (which probably wouldn't be fuzzy--I don't know I haven't actually watched a video on it-- I think the fuzziness was more related to watching tv rather than videos--but I don't know for sure. We also have a little wooden table that we want to give away if anyone is interested. It has kind of a wicker-style trim.  Wood color. Just let me know.

Ward SWAP

I have been thinking about putting together a SWAP, but I wanted to see if other people were interested in it before I started putting it together!

Here's what I am thinking:
I know that I have a bunch of things that need to go to the DI, but I thought before I do that, maybe I could see if anyone else is in need of what I have! So, I have a DI pile, but haven't taken it to DI yet, because if people are interested in doing a swap then I will save everything for the SWAP. 

The SWAP will be kind of a bring what you no longer need, and take the things that you do need.
I have been thinking about doing this for a little while, but haven't done anything about it! My Mom's ward is actually doing one at the end of this month, and that kind of motivated me to see if there is anyone out there who is interested!

Let me know if you are interested! And if there is enough interest, I will put it together and get the details out to people, otherwise I will just make my trip to DI :)
